Join our group to stay up to date on upcoming events and cancellations.

Slate Belt Youth Group is for students grades 7th – 12th. We seek to grow students through prayer and bible study each Sunday evening. Our desire is that each student comes to know Christ, grows in Christ, and seeks to tell other about Christ.

Our youth group is currently lead by Adam & Caylee Livingston, as we seek a full time Youth Pastor. They have been members of Slate Belt Church since 2019 and have three young boys, Lincoln, Greyson, and Weston.

Adam has a bachelors degree in theology from Oklahoma Baptist University and a Master of Divinity degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

What To Expect

Each week consists of fellowship (free time), group games, snacks, and bible study.  Our bible lessons range from 25 minutes to 45 minutes depending on the topic. Make sure to bring you bible!

Our Mission & Vision

We desire to see each student come to know Christ as savior (John 3:16-18; Acts 4:12; Rom. 3 21-26), and to be conformed to His image (Eph. 4:11-16; 2 Cor. 3:18; Rom. 8:28-29).

With these things in mind our time together is focused on the Word of God, specifically expositional teaching. As we open the Word each week we trust the sovereign Lord, by his Spirit, to illuminate our minds to understand all that He has spoken.

Saved by Grace Alone

Through Faith Alone

In Christ Alone

According to Scripture Alone

To the Glory of God Alone

The five Solas were the heart of the protestant reformation, and they are still the heart of the church today.  They declare to us that we are saved by grace alone (sola gratia), through faith alone (sola fide), in christ alone (solus christus), according to the scriptures alone (sola scriptura), to the glory of God alone (soli deo gloria).
